EMOTIONAL / MOTIVATIONAL KINESIOLOGY

FEAR – False Evidence Appearing RealThink about all the decisions you have made in the last day or so and ask yourself why you made those decisions. You will discover that most of them were made out of a mixture of fear and doubt. Thoughts such as, “I can’t do that. What will other people say? What will my friends think of me? I am not smart enough.” How many beautiful heartfelt wishes have been crushed by fear? How many times has society’s harsh voice of disapproval cast a shadow on your dreams? Now it is time to break free of those false beliefs and realise your dreams. Fear stops you from being who you truly are. BlameIt is so easy to blame someone or something for the things that go wrong or the way things are in your life. The reality is that no-one can make you do or feel anything. Offence can never be taken, it is only ever given. Comments or thoughts such as, “He/She hurt me. They make me so angry! If he/she hadn’t of done that, I would be okay,” these are your reactions to what has been said or done. If that particular issue isn’t a problem within your energy then there will be no reaction. EmotionsIn order to reach your highest potential and find success in any aspect of your life action is required. Emotions… feelings… thoughts - these are the driving force behind whether action is being taken or not. Everything you do is determined almost entirely by how you want to feel. As Freud once said, we seek pleasure and avoid pain. Addiction to such things as drugs, coffee, alcohol, cigarettes and sex are all tranquilisers to alter the way you feel. You can also be addicted to an emotion. Using ‘guilt’ as an example, whenever you feel guilt a chemical reaction occurs within the body. If you are addicted to the way this chemical reaction makes you feel, you will do things throughout your life to make you feel guilty. You may purchase a 4WD vehicle to give you that feeling of power. Your next door neighbour may purchase a brand new computer to achieve the very same feeling. We all tend to link feelings to things. If these emotions are of a self destructive nature and you become attached to so many ‘things’ just to be able to gain that feeling, life can become one constant struggle - and you may not even know why. Belief SystemsAs you journey through life you automatically store emotions and believe certain things about yourself. Perceptions are formed from how you see yourself and your life. These perceptions or beliefs come about through what other people say to you, what you have read and even what you say to yourself. You store these past associations as reference points in your subconscious mind. Somebody may say or do something, you see a certain colour or hear a certain song and this ‘trips the electrical circuit’, so to speak, and triggers the association to the emotion or belief. You then react in the only way you know how - from past experience. Your reaction or inability to act can cause great stress in your life and so you never achieve the things you would like to. You feel you simply don’t have the choice or ability to do so because something is controlling your life. As an example, you may have a belief that, “My life must be a struggle.” And so you will do everything to ensure this belief is fulfilled by struggling in each area of your life - financially, relationships, career - everything. Things will become a difficult struggle so it is just easier to give up thus perpetuating and esculating struggle. By removing these unresolved negative emotions and belief systems, or blocks, you then have the ability to make choices in your life. When you can make choices, you feel balanced… you feel empowered. Are you surviving your life or are you living your life? Throw out all of the excuses - “It’s too late, I’m too old, I don’t have the knowledge, I’ve been like this all my life.” All excuses do is stop you from living.
